NEW SHINDO KAI T SHIRTS

The same electric orange or kids purple and silver writing, that we had for our summer camp T shirts.

It says OSU! In the middle where is said summer camp. Names can be added for an extra £1.50

ATTACHED is the order form & Photo, fill in and e mail me your size, and if a name wants adding to the T shirt.

I can hand the shirts out then to everyone hopefully at the central England comp or for sure at our Kata competition on the 14^th July.

Thanks to the coaches , students and parents that made the long trip up. Central England competition on the 7^th, lets flood the sections and have a real go !!!

THIS SUNDAY !!!!!

JUNE; Sunday 23RD; FOUR COURSES IN ONE.

This will be a good run out for students want to fight different faces if you are travelling down to the central England competition, same club faces can result in stagnation, you need to be fighting new faces, not the same club faces that know your every move and you know theirs.

Also the kata people can let sensei Alex fault find on your kata or come to the grass roots session to make a start with getting on the kata squad.

£5 one session / £8 any 2 sessions / Referees course free

10.30 – 12; KATA training first this time.

12 – 1.30 pm KUMITE training + Grass roots kata session ( sensei Alex Enpi Kata)

12 – 1.30 pm Referees course

To eventually take 1^st Dan and above you need pages of events in your license books to show commitment to the association and your club.

License books will be signed by your club instructors after every shindo kai course or competition you attend. Osu

Kata rules added;

Individual Kata beginners to 4th kyu can repeat but must be Pinan Or Heian Kata.

3rd Kyu and and above minimum 3 Katas so can do 1,2 3 them 1,2 ,3 again.

Team Kata can repeat as not graded, no bunkai required.

Pairs kata can repeat as not graded.

SHINDO KAI KATA ONLY COMPETITION

HONEYWELL BARNSLEY. 9.30 – 1.00 pm

CLOSING DATE ; SATURDAY 6^TH JULY

Note we have split the boys from the girls for 8 – 9 years and added a grand champions section, this is larger sections and the competitors will be on the mat at the same time and its flags from the start. Its random draw done on the day so you have more chance to go through rounds and get more mat time performing kata. The same kata can be used or changed for rounds. The winners will get a trophy and medal plus normal silver and joint bronze medals. Just put your names down as a normal section along with your graded sections.
